Primary Performance in 2025 (KS2 only) - last update: December 2025) - DfE School Comparison site
Nationally testing and Teacher Assessment in Writing takes place in May each year for those children in Year 6. Children are assessed in Reading, Spelling Punctuation & Grammar and Mathematics as well as Teacher Assessment in Writing. Children operating at a higher level (Greater Depth) are also identified as part of the testing process. As with all other national tests all children in Year 6 are required to undertake this process.
